Newspaper Archive of
The Marion Press
The Marion Press began publishing in 1889. In 1908 the newspaper consolidated its name from the Dispatch Leader to the Marion Dispatch. In 1917, the focus of the paper was shifted to covering all of Northern Osceola County, and the paper was subsequently renamed the Northern Osceola Press. In 1922 the focus of the paper was once again shifted back to the Village of Marion, and the newspaper’s name was changed again to the Marion Press.
Today, the Marion Press remains dedicated to the Village of Marion, providing news and advertising to the Marion, McBain, and Osceola County area.
